Heads up
NE 24th Street, Lake Sammamish Parkway to 172nd Avenue NE: lane shifts, and one lane alternating with flaggers, Monday to Thursday, 7 AM to 5 PM. Two-way travel stays open while the water main and sewer work goes on, so give the corridor extra time on weekday mornings and afternoons. City of Redmond

2 Line shuttle buses replace trains between South Bellevue and the International District from the start of service Saturday, November 14, through the end of service Sunday, November 15, for scheduled maintenance. This week's poll
Last week the top pick was a night in.
Where do you spend most Saturdays in Redmond this month?
The market in 60 seconds
Across city of Redmond listings in ZIPs 98052 and 98053, the median home sold for $1.22M over the last 30 days (61 closings; single-family alone $1.43M). The median home took 51 days from listing to closing, and there are 4.7 months of inventory on the market.
Against last week's count, the median eased from $1.23M, days from listing to closing fell from 61 to 51, and inventory slipped from 4.9 to 4.7 months, with 287 active listings (307 last week). The two 30-day windows share most of their sales, so one week's move says little about direction. Single-family homes sit at 3.9 months, and 5% of homes closed above asking, the same as last week. Under three months favors sellers and above six favors buyers, so Redmond stays in balanced territory.
One useful thing: alerts in more than 200 languages

Reader asked
A reader asked where to find live music and a lively, walkable Friday or Saturday night in or near Redmond. We checked the city calendar and one venue's website this week. Neither lists a live-music night in Redmond for the coming weekends, so no bar is named here. What the calendar does list is a family comedy show at the Redmond Senior & Community Center, 8703 160th Avenue NE, from 6:30 to 7:30 PM on Friday, November 6. For a bigger night out, the 2 Line runs from Downtown Redmond to Seattle, and the shuttle weekend of November 14 and 15 replaces trains only between South Bellevue and the International District.
